Due to the health crisis, the Scientific Committee of the 7th edition of the SIEST Mediterranean conference has decided to extend the deadline.
Proposals can therefore be submitted on the platform until 31 december 2021

Authors’ guidelines

Proposals for paper(s) must reach the scientific committee  via the conference website: https://siest2021.sciencesconf.org. The text must meet the standards required in the educational research community and use the style sheet provided

Style sheet:

Texts that do not meet these standards cannot be sent to the experts for review.

  • The papers should not exceed 12.000 characters (abstract is not included). This corresponds to approximately six (6) A4-pages. The use of the provided template is mandatory (Police Times 12 pt; single space between paragraphs; left/right and up/down margins: 2.5 cm).
  • The title of the papers should be as short as possible (≤ 60 characters).

Graphs and all other illustrations should be numbered and titled according to the template, as well. For those tables, graphs, and/or illustrations that are not original, the initial source of reference should be clearly indicated.
  • The references within the papers should follow the APA style. For example: “According to the ideas of some experts (Amy, 1998; Dupont, 1996; Dupont & Dupond, 1996), it is necessary to follow the conclusions of Durand (1994), even if the clarifications brought forward by Dupuy (1995a; 1995b) should not be …”).
  • An abstract of 100 words (French or English) and 3-5 keywords in the papers’ language should be provided.
  • An abstract of 200 words and 3-5 keywords in the other language should be provided, as well.
  • The bibliographic references should be placed at the end of the papers. They should be presented in a single list with no sub-divisions regarding their type, and in alphabetical order. The authors should follow the APA style (5th and 6th edition) according to the provided template.
  • Annexes will be placed after the bibliography and numbered in roman numbers.
